Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist (Consumer Lending)

Location: 11550 Ent Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, plus a 7% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Assist members and internal staff with collateral protection insurance, total loss claims, GAP claims, product add-ons, cancellations, and claim payments.
• Respond to phone, email, secure messaging, and other service requests while maintaining timely and accurate resolutions.
• Process credit verifications, consent-to-remove forms, coupon orders, correspondence, and incoming department mail.
• Service consumer and real estate loans, including payoff statements, payoff funds, HELOC checks, insurance claims, deeds of trust, and releases.
• Review, image, store, and retain loan documents while correcting discrepancies and ensuring required signatures and records are complete.
• Complete file room organization, nightly balancing, reconciliation, quality control, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of combined financial services, customer service, consumer lending, or mortgage lending experience required.
• 2+ years of consumer or mortgage lending experience required.
• Working knowledge of consumer lending terminology, loan documents, process flows, GAP/MBP programs, and document storage systems.
• Ability to understand appraisals, perform analytical and mathematical work, and use Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, multitasking, and independent working skills; knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, banking and financial services, customer service, or communications.
• Symitar experience.
