Associate Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship (Days) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $36,200–$59,200 per year

What you will do

• Learn to maintain and troubleshoot advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive and first-call maintenance activities.
• Complete technical coursework through Vermont State University and earn approximately 23 college credits.
• Work alongside technicians and engineers to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
• Follow quality, safety, operational, and EHSS procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical education.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work a compressed 12-hour day-shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Ability to work on site in a semiconductor cleanroom, wear required protective equipment, and stand for most of a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds periodically and travel 0–5%.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude, attention to detail, dependability, and ability to follow procedures.
