Business Systems Analyst - Technology

Location: Primarily virtual, but candidates must reside in the Columbus, Ohio area or be able to commute to the Columbus office. Employees work in the office at least four days per week and may work from home one day per week. Up to 20% travel is required.

Base salary: $71,300–$98,100 per year, plus potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Analyze, elicit, translate, and document business and functional requirements.
• Support testing, issue resolution, implementation validation, procedural documentation, and user manuals.
• Build relationships with advisor practices and business partners while driving technology-related issues through resolution.
• Promote technology adoption by developing operational playbooks, documentation, and implementation support.
• Manage critical technology incidents, coordinate support teams, and develop corrective actions or workarounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in incident management involving hardware, software, network configuration, and support.
• At least 3 years of experience eliciting, translating, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, time-management, customer-service, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Valid U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
• Residence in the Columbus, Ohio area or the ability to commute to the Columbus office is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Power BI.
• Understanding of networking, information security, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
• Experience implementing and documenting technology solutions related to business operations, security, compliance, audits, and third-party relationships.
• Relevant Microsoft or technology certifications.
