Senior IT Analyst (Banking/Payments)

Location: Warsaw or Gdańsk, Poland; hybrid model with 75% remote work

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex card transformation initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Own requirements quality and traceability across discovery, design, development, testing, migration, and post-implementation validation.
• Facilitate workshops and decisions with business, product, architecture, development, testing, operations, and migration stakeholders.
• Perform current-state, target-state, gap, and impact analyses across processes, systems, integrations, data, and card portfolios.
• Define acceptance criteria and support test planning, defect clarification, migration readiness, and solution validation.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior IT Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a comparable role within banking, payments, or another regulated technology environment.
• Experience owning complex requirements across the full solution delivery lifecycle and working with large transformation programs.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for requirements, decisions, dependencies, and delivery documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in SAFe or another agile delivery model.
• Professional proficiency in English and Polish, including written communication, presentations, and facilitation.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices in regulated environments, including data privacy, information security, transparency, and human oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with approved generative AI tools for analysis, documentation, summarization, or insight generation.
• Knowledge of card lifecycle management, payment management, card servicing, migration, or Mastercard and Visa scheme requirements.
