Sr. Data Analyst, Customer Analytics (Insurance)

Salary: $84,724–$120,000 annually, plus bonus and/or commission eligibility.

What you will do

• Turn customer data into insights that support retention, growth, product adoption, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports covering customer health, engagement, adoption, and churn risk.
• Develop advanced analyses using regression, clustering, predictive modeling, ANOVA, factor analysis, and related statistical methods.
• Monitor data governance and quality while improving reporting efficiency and automating analytics workflows.
• Partner with Client Success leadership, Product, Sales, and Operations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analyst roles.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Experience using Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis, including regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, and factor analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex findings into clear narratives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Insurance or insurtech industry experience.
• Experience with dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, Salesforce, customer health scores, churn models, or adoption analytics.
• Exposure to predictive or prescriptive analytics, AI/ML-assisted analysis, prompt engineering, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Business acumen, intellectual curiosity, ownership, collaboration, adaptability, and strong stakeholder judgment.
