Strategic Insights Senior Analyst, Data Analytics (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are required in-office days, while the other two office days are flexible.

Base pay: $83,628.00–$109,761.75 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze data to support business teams in making informed, data-driven decisions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of operational and analytical dashboards.
• Create models and tools that identify business inefficiencies and generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate across the organization to define improvement actions and monitor initiative impact.
• Support strategic projects and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of technical experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
• At least 1 year of experience working with large datasets and distilling analyses into relevant insights.
• Experience communicating reporting updates and resolutions between technical and non-technical users across at least two reporting projects.
• Experience with SQL, including filtering, aggregation, and CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas, loops, and statistical tests.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance.

Nice to have

• Experience preparing healthcare analytics and reporting.
• Experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization.
• Experience developing dashboards with Looker or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA Marketplace, quality of care, or population health.
