EHS Specialist

What you will do

• Partner with production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to integrate EHS requirements into daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead risk assessments, safety observations, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using hirify.global Business System tools.
• Manage assigned EHS management system elements and environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Facilitate EHS training, coaching, and associate engagement activities.
• Monitor EHS metrics, lead improvement projects, and participate in Gemba and Kaizen activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or other regulated operations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, TSCA, and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
• Strong communication, project management, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 lbs and wear required safety and cleanroom protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
