Business Developer (Defence and Aeronautics)

Location: Gilching, Bavaria, Germany. Hybrid working model with up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area; frequent travel is required.

What you will do

• Acquire new business for defence and aeronautical products and services, focusing on the German market.
• Define business acquisition targets and support related strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners and identify upcoming industry programmes.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with proposal teams to improve bid outcomes.
• Support strategic partnerships, customer satisfaction campaigns, and management reporting.
• Analyse industry trends, develop recommendations, prepare marketing materials, and represent hirify.global at trade shows and conferences.

Requirements

• Expertise in business development with a background or strong interest in the German defence and aeronautical industry.
• University degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in engineering or science.
• Experience with the commercial aspects of engineering, defence, or aeronautical industries.
• Advanced English and native-level German.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spanish.
