Epic Applications Analyst 4 - PB (Epic)

What you will do

• Define, document, build, validate, and maintain Epic EHR application content for PB and related applications.
• Create functional specifications and validate application content with business owners.
• Independently lead and manage projects while meeting established deadlines and project management guidelines.
• Analyze complex application issues, identify resolution paths, and coordinate collaboration across information systems teams.
• Act as a liaison between IT, customers, vendors, and operational stakeholders; facilitate meetings and maintain supporting documentation.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support when required, communicate with leadership up to the C-level, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of related experience in electronic health record implementation and support, or at least 5 years of operational experience with the applicable EHR applications.
• Vendor-required certification or accepted proficiency for the assigned Epic application modules; certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer if not already held.
• Advanced application knowledge and the ability to independently assess and resolve complex problems with limited supervision.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access, including analysis and database maintenance.
• Written and verbal communication in English is required.
