Epic Application Analyst Senior (MyChart)

Location: Fully remote with on-site presence required yearly; based at Key Bank Tower in Salt Lake City, Utah. Candidates must not reside or plan to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $39.97–$62.91 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Own configuration and ongoing optimization of Epic MyChart and Patient Experience applications.
• Build and maintain MyChart questionnaires, test-results release workflows, proxy access, activation, identity verification, eCheck-in, and pre-visit workflows.
• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, integration, maintenance, and lifecycle management for healthcare applications.
• Lead mid-sized projects as a project manager, including business cases, resource planning, ROI and KPI support, and stakeholder coordination.
• Develop testing plans and scripts, review team build quality, and follow documentation, deployment, and change-management standards.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, Compliance, Privacy, HIM, vendors, peers, and other stakeholders while mentoring analysts and contributing to standards and training materials.

Requirements

• Epic MyChart certification is required, with ongoing certification maintenance expected.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field, or approved equivalent professional experience.
• Four years of related work experience, with alternative experience thresholds available for candidates actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• In-depth knowledge of business applications, system analysis, operating systems, documentation, data collection, and problem definition.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work independently, participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities, and remain seated or standing for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience with MyChart questionnaires, test-results release configuration, proxy classes for teen and adult access, activation and identity verification, eCheck-in, MyChart Bedside, Hyperspace build, MyChart rules, and System Definitions.
