Application Analyst Professional Billing (Epic)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with onsite presence required for trainings or meetings; based at Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado. Applicants residing or planning to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington are not considered. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM MST.

Salary: $32.42-$51.08 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Support, configure, maintain, and optimize healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle.
• Analyze stakeholder issues, diagnose incidents, and provide resolutions in line with service levels and department standards.
• Translate business and technology requirements into functional designs, workflows, specifications, and reporting solutions.
• Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and integrate applications, hardware, workflows, and third-party vendor systems.
• Manage small to mid-size projects as project manager, coordinating resources, requestors, vendors, and multiple teams.
• Develop testing plans, training materials, documentation, and knowledge resources while supporting change management and on-call responsibilities when applicable.

Requirements

• Two years of related work experience, or four years of related experience while actively pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with healthcare applications, systems analysis, operating systems, technical documentation, problem definition, and data collection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with stakeholders, peers, vendors, and project teams.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and operate computers and other IT equipment.
• Must certify in one or more Epic applications and maintain the required certification.

Nice to have

• Existing Epic certification in Resolute Professional Billing Administration, PB Claims Administration, Charge Router, Resolute Hospital Billing Administration, or HB Claims Administration.
• Revenue cycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field.
