Senior Data Modeler (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable physical data models in Snowflake.
• Translate conceptual and logical models into Snowflake schemas, tables, and views.
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
• Align data models and metadata with governance standards and platforms such as Collibra.
• Document modeling and transformation logic for traceability and compliance.
• Support data pipeline performance tuning and optimization while working with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake data modeling and SQL.
• Required experience with Data Vault 2.0.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration, Data Vault, Star Schema, and normalization.
• Experience with metadata and data governance platforms, ideally Collibra.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, requirements-gathering, presentation, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Matillion, or Fivetran.
• Familiarity with AWS S3 or data quality tools such as Ataccama.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
• Agile experience and the ability to facilitate requirements-gathering workshops.
