Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Location: Corporate Office; onsite position

Salary: $99,369–$141,957 annual base salary

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data pipelines using efficient ETL and ELT processes.
• Build scalable data models and transformations with dbt and Snowflake.
• Create and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions with Snowflake-compatible BI tools.
• Improve data quality, integrity, reliability, scalability, and maintainability across systems.
• Document architectures and processes, collaborate with architects and DBAs, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent additional experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive Snowflake experience, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security features.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or another programming language.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; data integration tools; and BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Spoken and written fluency in English; willingness to travel locally, regionally, or nationally up to 10% and work evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.
