TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake): Designing and delivering scalable data solutions and production-grade ETL pipelines that power organizational decision-making with an accent on reliable data platforms, advanced SQL, and maintainable Python code. Focus on making architectural decisions, deploying and monitoring data pipelines at scale, and mentoring other engineers.
Location: Hybrid; applicants must live within a commutable distance of Pittsburgh, Boston, Toronto, or Montreal

What you will do
- Design and deliver scalable data solutions that support organizational decision-making.
- Build reliable, high-quality production data pipelines using modern data engineering tools.
- Own data platform components end to end, from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with teams across the business and mentor engineers through knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Solid Python experience in a data engineering environment.
- Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience designing and operating production-grade ETL pipelines at scale.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to take ownership of work from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Ability to work within commuting distance of one of the listed offices is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial or regulated data.
- Familiarity with Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
- Experience with streaming or near-real-time data pipelines.
