Manager, Environmental Health and Safety Manager III

Location: Ocala, Florida, United States; position based at a fulfillment center and may require travel.

What you will do

• Coordinate and implement safety, loss prevention, food safety, and environmental compliance programs for the fulfillment center.
• Promote safe behavior, employee engagement, accountability, and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct training, mentor associates, and support operations managers and safety personnel.
• Perform audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and investigations of incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and theft.
• Lead the contract guard service, maintain safety incident records, and keep the OSHA 300 log current.
• Partner with consultants, vendors, employment agencies, professional associations, OSHA, EPA, and other government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a safety-related field.
• Two to four years of experience handling safety, loss prevention, environmental compliance, or food safety responsibilities.
• Experience leading and developing a group or team.
• Experience with emergency response, current First Aid and CPR certifications, and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, analytical, judgment, partnership, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to analyze accident data, processes, and machinery; maintain confidentiality in personnel matters; and travel when required.

• Experience in workers' compensation case management.
