Senior / Lead Software Engineer | OTC Product Area (Fintech)

Location: Denmark; hybrid work with a minimum of two days per week in the Copenhagen office and up to three remote days

What you will do

• Design, build, extend, and consume REST APIs for OTC asset-management solutions.
• Develop new features and maintain established functionality in hirify.global Dimension and hirify.global One.
• Refactor and modernize legacy code while maintaining business continuity.
• Improve system quality, performance, scalability, user experience, and operational resilience.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers on requirements, architecture, code reviews, testing, and shared solution ownership.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from customer needs and design through implementation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Solid C# development experience; the role primarily uses C#.
• Hands-on software-engineering experience and a relevant Computer Science or STEM degree.
• Experience or strong interest in legacy-system refactoring and functional programming.
• For senior and lead levels, experience contributing to architectural decisions for scalable backend systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Availability to work in the Copenhagen hybrid model, including at least two office days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with OCaml, APL, F#, Standard ML, Scala, or Haskell.
• Knowledge of financial systems, asset management, API scalability, automation, performance, or operational resilience.
