Backend Developer (.NET) in the EU

Location: Remote, hybrid, or office-based work is available from the listed European countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and The Netherlands.

Salary: EUR 1,850–3,350 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design and build .NET 8 microservices using FastEndpoints and Clean Architecture.
• Implement Temporal workflow orchestration with typed workflows and activities, task queues, signals, and queries.
• Develop platform capabilities including a configuration registry, rules API, workflow gateway, payment adapters, and policy adapters.
• Integrate GoRules ZEN, Cerbos authorization, Azure services, Managed Identity, structured logging, and related infrastructure.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests with xUnit, FakeItEasy, and Shouldly against real dependencies.
• Collaborate with platform and domain teams on API contracts, OpenAPI specifications, and shared NuGet libraries.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on .NET development experience; .NET 8 is required.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture, strict layer dependencies, business logic separation, and Result-based error handling.
• Hands-on experience with the Temporal .NET SDK, including ITemporalClient, IWorkflow, IActivity, task queue registration, and cross-task-queue dispatch.
• Strong Azure experience with Key Vault, Managed Identity, Blob Storage, and Application Insights, plus ORM experience with Entity Framework Core or equivalent.
• Experience with automated and integration testing using xUnit, FakeItEasy, and Shouldly, as well as containerized development with Docker, Podman, and Podman Compose.
• English: Intermediate+ or above.

Nice to have

• FastEndpoints 7.x, GoRules ZEN, Cerbos .NET client, or JSONata .NET experience.
• Kafka consumer patterns, SOAP/WCF integrations, and additional Temporal .NET SDK experience.
