Industrial Maintenance Electrician (CNC/PLC)

Location: Onsite in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. First shift, full-time, 40 hours per week. No relocation assistance.

Pay progression: $39.53–$41.96 per hour. Summary pay range: $29.29–$41.96 per hour. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical and electronic systems, including CNC machines, PLCs, servo systems, and relay logic.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and safety.
• Maintain AC/DC drives, motors, encoders, sensors, control panels, cranes, hoists, conveyors, furnaces, welding equipment, HVAC systems, and automated production lines.
• Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic diagrams, and technical prints.
• Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Document maintenance work in computerized maintenance management systems and follow environmental, safety, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with PLC-controlled equipment, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, or equivalent systems.
• Experience with CNC machinery, servo systems, industrial automation, AC/DC drives, motors, and control circuits.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and medical evaluation is required.

• Completion of a technical, electrical, or industrial maintenance program.
• Experience with large machine tools and heavy manufacturing equipment.
