Maintenance Electrician II (Industrial Automation)

Location: 211 Murphy Drive, Eagle, WI 53119, USA. On-site, 3rd shift: Sunday-Monday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM.

Salary: $31/hour plus an 11% shift premium.

What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, components, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, PLC, and controls-related issues in manufacturing and facility operations.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity, and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and machine specifications.
• Recommend and implement equipment and design improvements that enhance safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and operating costs.
• Provide technical support to project managers and engineers and contribute to reducing equipment downtime.
• Train maintenance technicians and apprentices.

Requirements

• Technical degree, associate degree, or certificate in a maintenance-related field.
• 6+ years of commercial or industrial electrical and maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of PLC hardware and programming systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to systematically resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work from drawings, sketches, blueprints, schematics, and machine specifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively and obtain and maintain certifications for service equipment operation.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment and automation in metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operations.
• Intermediate PC knowledge.
