Electromechanical Technician (UHT Manufacturing)

Location: Pennsauken, New Jersey, United States; onsite at the UHT facility. Regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with approximately three weeks of first-shift training from 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Compensation: $28.26–$40.63 per hour, based on experience, skills, and location. Eligible for a targeted annual bonus of 5%.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Inspect and maintain rotary machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other production equipment.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair steam, refrigeration, and wastewater systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
• Maintain work orders, repair records, and parts inventory in CMMS, and use SAP for purchase requisitions.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, vendor coordination, and operator training.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC-based automation, VFDs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints and use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work at heights and around machinery.

Nice to have

• Stainless steel and sanitary welding skills.
• NJ Blue or Black Seal Boiler License and boiler experience.
