Software Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Cork, Ireland; hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations

What you will do

• Build and maintain cloud-native compute and storage resource integrations.
• Develop and work with VMware vSphere and vCenter plugin APIs.
• Support marketplace operations and related APIs.
• Work with VMware cloud operations and data protection in virtualized environments.
• Build systems using Linux and Docker containers.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere.
• Experience with major cloud vendors and their APIs.
• Good knowledge of Linux systems and Docker containers.
• Programming experience in Java or Python.
• Understanding of cloud-native compute, storage, and marketplace APIs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data protection operations in virtualized environments.
• Experience with .NET, PowerShell, or C#.
