Senior Engineer (MDM)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid workplace

Dun & Bradstreet provides commercial data and technology solutions, including the D&B Connect Master Data Management platform.

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, maintain, and support scalable distributed software systems.
• Build and evolve the D&B Connect MDM platform for data cleansing, matching, enrichment, monitoring, and management.
• Design solutions addressing data quality, identity resolution, integration, governance, and real-time and batch workloads.
• Lead application modernization, re-platforming, refactoring, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction.
• Partner with SRE and platform teams to deploy and manage data infrastructure on GCP or AWS.
• Improve quality and operational efficiency through automation, testing, code reviews, incident response, and AI-enabled development tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing and deploying commercial software products.
• Advanced Linux knowledge and experience troubleshooting data and performance issues.
• Strong experience with Java and/or Scala, Python, Spark/PySpark, and scripting languages.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and a broad range of GCP or AWS services.
• Experience with Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, AI development tools, continuous improvement, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
