What you will do

• Write Linux user-space and kernel code for DMA, memory management, and hardware integration.
• Develop software at the hardware/software boundary for switching ASICs, FPGAs, media adapters, PCIe bridges, and networking chips.
• Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing protocols, including LLDP, 802.1x, BFD, BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
• Develop configuration-management services using Go and Python with YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, SSH, and SSL.
• Build fault-tolerant concurrent routing agents and automated Python-based test harnesses for large device fleets.
• Implement hardware access and telemetry through SPI, SMBus, PCIe, and I2C, including high-resolution timers and congestion statistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of one or more of C, C++, Java, Python, Go, React, Redux, Node, networking, Linux, embedded systems, algorithms, programming, or software development.
• Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, highly technical team environment.
• Passion for solving challenging problems with technology.
