What you will do

• Assess staff learning needs and clinical competencies in collaboration with managers and clinical teams.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate education activities and curricula covering clinical competencies, policies, regulations, and clinical information technologies.
• Coordinate and deliver orientation and continuing education for new and existing clinical staff.
• Serve as a consultant and mentor for program development, clinical practice, and professional development.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing or Paramedic program.
• Current RN licensure or Paramedic certification.
• At least five years of critical care experience, one year of teaching experience, and two years of course coordination experience.
• Current CPR-BLS, CPR-PALS, and CPR-ACLS certifications.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check in accordance with Illinois and applicable federal and state requirements.

Nice to have

• More than five years of critical care experience, more than one year of teaching experience, and more than four years of course coordination experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• IDPH Instructor or Lead Instructor credentials, ACLS Instructor certification, Certified BTLS, or Certified PALS Instructor status.
