PRN Medical Assistant

Location: Health Center Float; onsite work in hirify.global health centers across the United States

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare exam rooms, escort patients, review medical information, and gather updated health data.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Support physicians and care teams in developing patient care plans and addressing gaps in care.
• Perform scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist coordination, and documentation.
• Process test results, communicate results to patients, conduct outreach, and maintain clinical and office supplies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
