Junior Simulation Software Developer C/C++ (Aerospace)

Location: Manching, Germany; on-site role with occasional travel to meet international partners.

What you will do

• Develop simulation models based on avionics software to represent aircraft equipment and systems.
• Translate operational and system requirements into simulation models and interfaces.
• Implement real-time software components in C and integrate internal and third-party modules.
• Develop requirements, test procedures, documentation, and formal acceptance activities.
• Create automation, code-generation, and optimized build-pipeline tools.
• Support the complete lifecycle from model development and integration through customer acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with software design, procedural and object-oriented programming, and unit, integration, and system testing.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and familiarity with distributed systems and simulation frameworks.
• Experience with Bash or Python, CMake, packaging tools, Linux, and Windows.
• Knowledge of version control, Atlassian tools, CI/CD or DevOps tools such as Jenkins, and software development environments such as VS Code.
• Business-fluent English is required. German, Spanish, French, or Italian is advantageous.

• Experience with avionics buses.

• Familiarity with agile working methods.
