Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering (AI Infrastructure): Managing and improving manufacturing equipment for large-scale data storage infrastructure with an accent on preventive maintenance, equipment setup, conversion, troubleshooting, and control systems. Focus on installing and propagating new equipment, developing continuous improvement projects, training operators, and applying PLC, C++, and Python for machine troubleshooting.
Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite work at the Bayan Lepas PN2 facility.

What you will do
- Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
- Manage equipment form-factor conversions, setup, and buyoff.
- Support continuous improvement projects and new equipment installation or setup propagation.
- Troubleshoot major equipment issues and support spare-parts inventory purchasing.
- Train new employees on standard operating procedures, human behavior, and machine operation.
- Use PLC, CTC, C++, and Python programming languages for equipment troubleshooting while adhering to OSHA safety and health standards.
Requirements
- Degree in an engineering discipline related to automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
- Up to 3 years of experience is preferred.
- Good command of English.
- Expertise in control systems.
- Ability to work onsite in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of machine programming languages such as PLC.
- CAD experience.
- Programming experience with Python or C++.
- Understanding of AI infrastructure, including LLMs, machine learning, or agentic AI.
