What you will do
- Set the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Identity Engine team.
- Lead and mentor engineers while fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee data preparation, identity resolution, and export capabilities at scale.
- Drive complex technical designs, architecture improvements, interface and API design, and design reviews across teams and services.
- Collaborate with Product Management on technical feasibility, long-term planning, and product priorities.
- Spend approximately 50% of the role as an individual contributor on complex technical challenges, architecture, and code quality reviews.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of demonstrated technical leadership experience delivering products as a technical lead.
- At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally with Java or other JVM-based languages.
- Experience developing critical systems, writing complex code, and improving engineering practices and coding standards.
- Strong experience with distributed system architecture, interface and API design, and cross-team design reviews.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical guidance and talent development at Staff level and above.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of adtech and identity identifiers.
- Experience with large-scale distributed data processing, such as Apache Spark.
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure across GCP and AWS, including Dataproc, Dataflow, GKE, or EMR.
- Experience with Temporal.
