Procurement Performance & Governance Leader - Aerostructures Commodity (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Consolidate procurement, financial, operational, and supplier data into a single performance baseline for the Airpower Aerostructures commodity.
• Translate procurement metrics, financial KPIs, and supply chain data into executive presentations, briefings, and recommendations.
• Coordinate the commodity operating plan, savings pipeline, cost-reduction initiatives, budget adherence, and internal cost-management targets.
• Maintain risk intelligence covering supplier solvency, single-source dependencies, ITAR/export-control friction, market trends, raw materials, and geopolitical developments.
• Track sourcing milestones, contract awards, transitions, resource bottlenecks, supplier claims, and contractual non-conformances.
• Represent the commodity in cross-functional forums and standardize procurement tools, dashboards, governance processes, and best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in procurement, management consulting, program management, or business operations.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or another complex and highly regulated engineering sector is preferred.
• Advanced skills in data synthesis, financial modeling, and executive-ready presentations.
• Experience influencing decisions and driving alignment in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
• Ability to understand military ecosystems, supplier risks, contractual issues, and procurement compliance requirements.
