Lead Supply Chain (Aerospace)

The Exploration Company develops aerospace technologies for the future of space transportation, including the Nyx Earth vehicle and future engines.

What you will do

• Lead operational purchasing and direct material procurement across company locations.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor order confirmations and delivery commitments, and coordinate recovery actions for supply risks.
• Own procure-to-pay activities, ensuring purchase orders, supplier data, approvals, documentation, and records are accurate and auditable.
• Coordinate with receiving, logistics, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and program procurement leads to resolve delivery, documentation, and invoice discrepancies.
• Allocate purchasing workload according to program priorities, delivery risks, and long-lead requirements.
• Lead and develop DMP managers across Germany, Italy, France, and the planned US scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in operational purchasing or supply chain management within aerospace, manufacturing, or another controlled technical environment.
• Experience managing teams across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP purchasing workflows, supplier follow-up, and procure-to-pay controls.
• Experience with EN9100, AS9100, or comparable quality management systems.
• Strong operational judgment, supplier negotiation, cross-functional communication, and purchasing data analysis skills.
