Project Procurement Specialist (m/w/d)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a local supplier base for solar and wind projects.
• Lead RFQ and RFI processes, including cost benchmarking, bid evaluation, and supplier onboarding.
• Collaborate with legal and technical teams on NDAs, contract terms, supplier qualification, and risk assessments.
• Manage end-to-end procurement for utility projects, including work with TSO and DSO clients.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, construction, logistics, and finance teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Source critical grid-tied components such as MV switchgear, SCADA systems, battery enclosures, and transformers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement planning and project support, ideally in energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of EPC and turnkey project procurement, including technical specifications, commercial terms, and risk considerations.
• Expertise in supplier qualification, contract negotiation, subcontractor management, sourcing, category management, and vendor onboarding.
• Fluency in English and German is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure projects, or TSO/DSO clients such as TenneT and Elia.
• NEVI or CIPS certification.
• Experience sourcing MV switchgear, SCADA systems, battery enclosures, or transformers.
