Lead Indirect Procurement (Aerospace)

Location: Munich, Germany. Relocation assistance is provided, including visa sponsorship where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead indirect procurement and CAPEX strategy for equipment, facilities, tools, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage suppliers across CAPEX and indirect purchasing categories.
• Lead negotiations covering pricing, delivery, acceptance criteria, warranties, and service commitments.
• Own procurement activities from requirements definition and RFQs through contract execution and supplier follow-up.
• Build sourcing plans, consolidate requirements, evaluate total cost of ownership, and prioritize investments against budgets and company milestones.
• Lead and develop the indirect procurement team while collaborating with Production/AIT, Operations, Facilities, IT, HR, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant procurement experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or another technical environment.
• Experience managing CAPEX and indirect procurement, including complex equipment or service contracts.
• Experience leading procurement professionals and managing competing stakeholder requirements.
• Practical experience with ERP systems and procurement controls.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, stakeholder communication, commercial judgment, and budget management skills.
