Senior Buyer (d/f/m) (Aerospace)

Location: Hamburg Area, Germany; work at hirify.global's production site in Hamburg. The role includes regular travel, primarily within Europe.

What you will do

• Develop market and supplier strategies aligned with procurement objectives.
• Research supply markets, assess suppliers, aggregate demand, and run calls for tender.
• Manage supplier contracts and business relationships, including amendments, renewals, terminations, and non-performance issues.
• Monitor supplier performance in cooperation with Supply Chain Quality and manage contract execution.
• Lead multifunctional projects, including planning, reporting, and financial adherence.
• Coordinate cost improvement activities, identify opportunities, and develop business cases with related teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, or sourcing.
• Experience managing large spend volumes of €100M+ per year.
• Strong communication, networking, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working effectively in international and multicultural teams.
• English at negotiation level is required.
• Willingness to travel regularly, primarily within Europe.
