Senior Agentic AI & Automation Engineer (Sustainability)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work model with the option to work from home two days per week and regular office engagement.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, build, and scale AI- and automation-enabled solutions for sustainability data and decision-making.
• Apply agentic AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows to climate, water, packaging, waste, nature, product life-cycle, and reporting challenges.
• Build data models, features, quality controls, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and distributed processing for auditable ESG reporting and compliance.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and turn validated ideas into secure, responsible, production-ready reusable capabilities.
• Develop tested, standards-compliant code and reusable engineering components.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions using DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices while collaborating with sustainability, product, data, architecture, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Strong foundations in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, automation, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on programming experience and a commitment to clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Experience with modern data platforms, pipelines, APIs, cloud services, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Curiosity about generative and agentic AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies, with a responsible and scalable experimentation mindset.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect technology to business and sustainability outcomes.
• Interest in using technology to address environmental challenges; prior ESG experience is welcome but not required.
