Senior Java Developer (AI)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do

• Design and develop distributed computing systems for internal and external clients.
• Write and manage source code, automated tests, configurations, and technical design documentation.
• Research technology options and develop proofs of concept for evaluation.
• Complete high-complexity development and unit testing, resolve defects, and support performance testing.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot and tune environments, and ensure technical best practices across project phases.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, communicate with testers and business users, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Java and the Spring framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, ORM frameworks such as JPA and Hibernate, and SQL.
• Web development experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Practical experience with unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, or Spock.
• Experience with Unix platforms, cloud platforms, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, or Gradle, and collaboration tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Good English and communication skills, plus knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
