Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first role available in Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Ukraine

Salary: €6,500–€9,000 gross per month, depending on experience

hirify.global develops cloud infrastructure and Kimchi, an AI platform for running and managing large language model services on Kubernetes.

What you will do

• Architect planner, executor, and evaluator pipelines using multiple AI models.
• Build agent memory and context-management capabilities, including state persistence, context compaction, and tool-call offloading.
• Own the harness surface, including TUI, MCP integrations, and telemetry.
• Design, implement, test, and roll out features end to end.
• Work directly with users and internal colleagues to identify and resolve product pain points.

Requirements

• Production experience with Go or TypeScript, or strong systems-programming experience in a comparable language.
• Strong debugging, optimization, query-profiling, index-design, and database-performance-tuning skills beyond ORM usage.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry, as well as CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience driving a complex project from design through delivery.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Must be based in one of the listed eligible countries; visa sponsorship and work-permit support are not provided.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with harnesses and creating AI workflows.
• Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity.
