Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first role available in Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Ukraine

Salary: €6,500–€9,000 gross per month, depending on experience

hirify.global develops Kimchi, an AI platform for running and managing large-scale AI services and agent fleets across cloud and self-hosted environments.

What you will do

• Design and build distributed systems for running fleets of AI agents at scale.
• Develop infrastructure that works across cloud and self-hosted environments.
• Implement least-privilege access, human approval workflows, and governance controls.
• Make agent actions observable, auditable, and traceable.
• Own features end to end, from design and implementation through testing and production rollout.
• Work directly with product and engineering teams on complex problems without standard solutions.

Requirements

• Production experience with Go or TypeScript, or strong systems programming experience in a comparable language.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills, including query profiling, index design, and database tuning beyond ORM usage.
• Experience personally driving a complex project from start to finish.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry, plus CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
• For the Agent Platform team, experience with virtualization, networking, security, or Kubernetes internals is valuable; cloud platform and Kubernetes experience is also a strong plus.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with virtualization, networking, security, and Kubernetes internals.
