Solution Architect (Data & AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with the option to work from home two days per week and regular office engagement.

What you will do

• Evolve the solution architecture and strategy for the Europe Transportation Ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into solution designs for agentic solutions, communication platforms, and Control Tower capabilities.
• Lead hands-on data architecture work, including data modeling, mapping, schema definition, and development of the semantic layer.
• Build, prototype, and iterate solution designs with product and project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain reference architectures, patterns, guidelines, diagrams, and other architecture artifacts.
• Review project architectures, present decisions to Architecture Review Boards, and promote architectural best practices across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data architecture or the IT industry.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Delta Lake, database systems, query optimization, data modeling, data integration, and ETL.
• Basic programming skills in Python and SQL, plus knowledge of system, application, infrastructure, network, and cloud security architecture.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required. Experience with Agile delivery, project work, and managing multiple priorities is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience designing Generative AI and/or Agentic AI solutions, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Hands-on expertise with semantic models and LLMs.
• Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, Power Platform, Model Context Protocol, and Agent-to-Agent protocols.
• Consulting or client-facing technical specialist experience.
