Manager of Development & Automation (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; the role is associated with Lakewood, New Jersey.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead, grow, onboard, and mentor the Development & Automation function.
• Own the automation and systems integration roadmap across internal operations and client environments.
• Identify manual processes and build scalable workflow automations, integrations, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with leadership, department heads, technical teams, vendors, and clients to define and deliver high-impact initiatives.
• Streamline service desk, ticketing, onboarding and offboarding, billing, and client lifecycle workflows.
• Track measurable outcomes including time saved, efficiency gains, reporting visibility, and service improvements.

Requirements

• Remote work within the United States, with the role associated with Lakewood, New Jersey.
• At least 3 years of experience in automation, systems integration, DevOps, or technical operations.
• At least 1 year leading or mentoring AI or automation initiatives.
• Experience in an MSP, SaaS, or other multi-client service environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, PowerShell, Power Platform, PSA/RMM tools, APIs, reporting tools such as Power BI, and data structures.
• Ability to apply AI to operational or client-facing use cases and deliver measurable business impact.

• Experience working with vendors and supporting capacity planning.
• Experience creating reusable automation patterns across multiple teams or clients.
