DevOps Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Employees receive 18 remote workdays per quarter with manager approval.

Base salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and total rewards benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for automated build, testing, approval, and deployment across development, test, and production environments.
• Develop and support Azure-based cloud environments and infrastructure-as-code solutions for storage, compute, and networking.
• Administer Git repositories, branching strategies, versioning standards, and code promotion practices.
• Use Docker or Podman to standardize application deployments and apply configuration management and security standards.
• Provide production support through issue triage, root cause analysis, incident management, and resolution coordination.
• Collaborate with data engineers, quantitative researchers, product, platform engineering, vendors, and IT partners on complex initiatives.

Requirements

• Six years of DevOps experience in cloud-based software delivery.
• Experience supporting technology applications or digital products with DevOps and process automation methods.
• Experience implementing and administering Git-based repositories and CI/CD pipelines with approval gates.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell; knowledge of Snowflake and data platform ecosystems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably in Microsoft Azure, plus containerization with Docker or Podman.
• Experience supporting production environments, managing incidents, diagnosing complex issues, and delivering high-complexity projects; financial services or investment management experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
