IT Business Analyst - International Finance System

What you will do

• Own functional support for the International Finance System, lead complex incident analysis, identify root causes, and coordinate sustainable resolutions.
• Define and refine features, documenting business objectives, scope, dependencies, assumptions, and acceptance criteria in Confluence.
• Perform functional analysis and define logical solution architecture across application modules with architects, engineers, product owners, and subject-matter experts.
• Coordinate product owners, developers, Operations, and business stakeholders while managing dependencies, risks, priorities, and release readiness.
• Define business-focused end-to-end testing, review test cases and data, support defect triage, and lead UAT through sign-off and post-implementation validation.
• Lead peer reviews, coach less-experienced analysts, and use AI tools responsibly to improve analysis and deliverable quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Business Analyst experience, including ownership of complex initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, and solution recommendations.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, including the use of pseudocode to describe complex business logic and system behavior.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data-quality checks.
• Experience as an Advanced or Senior Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Tester, or Developer, with a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Fluent English required, with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and distributed teams and present complex topics clearly.

Nice to have

• Core banking experience and knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Advanced requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, traceability, and change management.
• Business process modeling, impact assessment, gap analysis, and target-state solution design.
• AI prompting, output validation, data confidentiality, and responsible AI use.
• Knowledge of banking and payments SWIFT standards, including MT103, MT101, MT202, MT202COV, MT203, MT200, and MT210.
