Head of Product Design (AI)

hirify.global is building a cloud-native video security platform that uses computer vision and multimodal AI to help businesses monitor incidents, improve safety, and manage security operations.

What you will do

• Set the product design vision and strategy across desktop and mobile experiences.
• Build the design team from the ground up, including defining roles, hiring, and closing design talent.
• Lead, mentor, and develop designers through feedback, critiques, and career growth paths.
• Design complex product areas including natural language video search, AI alert setup, interactive camera walls, and incident investigations.
• Guide experiences for multi-site security oversight, role-based access control, visitor management, and emergency response coordination.
• Partner with product, engineering, and customers on roadmap planning, research, prioritization, and product strategy.

Requirements

• Experience leading product design for technically complex B2B products.
• Ability to remain hands-on while building and leading a design organization.
• Experience establishing design processes, rituals, quality standards, and career development practices.
• Experience with user research and direct engagement with operational users and business stakeholders.
• Ability to own and evolve a UI component library and design system in Figma.
• Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-native products, computer vision, multimodal LLMs, video security, or access control.
• Experience building a design team in an early-stage environment.
