Senior Data Engineer (AWS/Snowflake)

Salary: €5,700–€7,400 per month, based on a 40-hour week with flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and manage efficient ETL pipelines and workflows for ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Optimize data workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions for future demands.
• Define technical roadmaps and align data engineering strategy with broader organisational goals.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Set development best practices, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
• Maintain data quality, governance, security, and compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Expertise in ETL processes, advanced SQL, complex data structures, data warehouses, and large-scale data system architecture.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab, infrastructure as code, and data workflows at scale.
• Experience with data governance, GDPR compliance, and security frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
