What you will do
- Build, enhance, and support high-volume data pipelines for business-critical order transaction data.
- Design and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and orchestration tools.
- Create and optimize star and snowflake schemas for data integrity and scalability.
- Write complex SQL and Snowflake SQL queries, tune performance, and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
- Integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, GCP, Alation, Power BI, and other third-party tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL and Snowflake SQL skills.
- Experience with ELT/ETL, dbt, orchestration, Python or Java, and Git.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikSense, or Superset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
