Senior Account Manager - Public Sector

Location: Machelen, Belgium, with a hybrid working model

What you will do

• Set strategic direction for key Belgian public sector accounts and create long-term account plans.
• Build relationships with public sector decision-makers across federal, regional, and local organizations.
• Connect clients with consulting, delivery, solution, and resource teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Lead opportunity qualification, value proposition development, public tenders, framework contracts, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Establish governance, monitor service quality and account performance, and manage risks, escalations, and improvement actions.
• Provide reporting, forecasting, and strategic insights while supporting consultant positioning and sustainable account growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in account management and business development, ideally in public sector organizations.
• Established network within the Belgian public sector, preferably at federal level and in Brussels and Wallonia.
• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with commercial credibility and political awareness.
• Experience in ICT services, consulting, or digital transformation is highly valued.
• Fluent Dutch, French, and English are required.
