AWS Python Developer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role with onsite work at a client site in Lafayette, Louisiana; Birmingham, Alabama; Columbia, South Carolina; or Knoxville, Tennessee, United States.

What you will do

• Lead the development and modernization of cloud-based applications and data solutions in a financial services environment.
• Build scalable AWS solutions using Python, SQL, AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and related services.
• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy enterprise applications and data processes throughout the SDLC.
• Work with relational databases including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Apply AI-assisted development techniques and test automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technology teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Python software development experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience with services including Glue, Lambda, ECS, EMR, Redshift, DMS, S3, SQS/SNS, and RDS.
• Strong Python and/or Java programming skills with solid SQL proficiency.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle and enterprise application or data solution delivery.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, test automation, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
