Embedded Software Development Engineer (f/m) (Avionics)

Location: Toulouse, France; onsite role in the Avionics Software Department.

What you will do

• Develop embedded real-time software in C from specification analysis through hardware validation.
• Design, integrate, and verify avionics software using probes, bus analyzers, and emulators.
• Support technical investigations by analyzing failure reports and responding to technical requests.
• Propose reusable software solutions and drive continuous process improvement.
• Define, monitor, and accept subcontracted deliverables in line with management rules.

Requirements

• Background in software engineering or avionics.
• Strong knowledge of system and processor architecture, operating systems, and critical real-time software development.
• Experience with DO-178C and DAL-A to DAL-D environments.
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems and standard DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of V-cycle development, including specification, architecture, design, coding, integration, and verification.
• Advanced English and French.
