TL;DR
Flight Software Engineer (M/F) (Aerospace): Designing, developing, and validating safety-critical flight software for autonomous rendezvous, proximity operations, and robotic spacecraft servicing with an accent on deterministic real-time execution, subsystem integration, and mission validation. Focus on integrating GNC and computer vision algorithms, implementing fault detection and recovery, and executing software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing for complex orbital missions.
Location: Toulouse, France, with hybrid working of up to 2 remote days per week. Applicants must be eligible and registered to work within Europe.
Company
develops secure and sustainable on-orbit servicing solutions, including life extension, refurbishment, in-space upgrades, situational awareness, end-of-life services, and active debris removal.

- Design, develop, and validate safety-critical onboard flight software for autonomous rendezvous, proximity operations, and robotic servicing missions.
- Define and maintain software interfaces with spacecraft subsystems and contribute to onboard software architecture and hardware-software partitioning.
- Integrate GNC and computer vision algorithms into deterministic real-time onboard software.
- Implement fault detection, isolation, and recovery mechanisms for spacecraft systems.
- Develop and execute Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop test campaigns for mission validation.
- Coordinate with GNC, computer vision, and subsystem teams, support system integration reviews, and contribute to knowledge transfer across global teams.
