Radar Signal Processing Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement near-real-time radar image formation algorithms, including inverse SAR processing for moving targets.
• Develop detection and tracking algorithms, including EKF- and UKF-based approaches, for moving target indication.
• Build jamming estimation and adaptive radar behavior capabilities using spectral sniffing and spatial covariance analysis.
• Develop radar-derived observables and algorithms supporting navigation when GNSS is unavailable.
• Prototype and port algorithms to embedded computing platforms while balancing performance, real-time execution, and resource constraints.
• Validate algorithms through hardware-in-the-loop testing, anechoic chamber campaigns, and flight trials, while coordinating with EW and RF analytics teams.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in radar signal processing, preferably in the defense or automotive radar industry.
• Solid experience with signal processing for FMCW or pulsed radar systems.
• Strong theoretical foundations and practical command of the underlying mathematics.
• Ability to take ownership of a technical scope from research through embedded implementation and validation.
• Comfort working independently in fast, iterative cycles involving coding and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with moving target tracking, ECCM, radar-based navigation, or live and real-time processing.
