Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Paris office, 9th arrondissement; expected to work in the office 4+ days per week

What you will do

• Integrate sensor data acquisition systems with ML inference pipelines while maintaining robust real-time performance.
• Collaborate with embedded systems, ML, hardware, software, and cloud teams to run complex software efficiently on wearable hardware.
• Design and implement tools for analyzing algorithm performance and quality.
• Write clean, well-designed, tested C++ code and work with large codebases.
• Document technical tradeoffs and communicate them through design reviews.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C++ and computer science fundamentals.
• At least 2 years of C++ software development experience.
• BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Experience with Git, version control, large codebases, and code reviews.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to isolate root causes across different software systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with asynchronous programming, real-time systems, digital signal processing, time series analysis, EEG, or other physiological sensing systems.
• Experience developing software for wearable devices and sensor systems.
• Experience resolving system integration issues across hardware, software, and ML teams.
• Experience with continuous integration, code quality tools, or AI tools for engineering workflows.
